About the Resort
Opal Sands Resort is located directly on Clearwater Beach, Florida, overlooking the Gulf. The resort sits along the southern end of Beach Walk, just steps from the beach, restaurants, shopping, Pier 60, and many of Clearwater Beach’s most popular attractions.

Getting Here & Transportation
Opal Sands Resort is located approximately 15 miles from St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport (PIE) and about 23 miles from Tampa International Airport (TPA). While the resort does not offer airport shuttle service, the concierge can assist with arranging transportation.
Yes. Opal Sands is a valet-only resort, and valet parking is available for registered hotel guests and restaurant visitors.
Yes. One of Opal Sands’ biggest advantages is its location. Guests can easily walk to Beach Walk, Pier 60, local restaurants, shops, entertainment, and many Clearwater Beach attractions. Guests can also walk via sky bridge to our sister Opal, Opal Sol.
Pier 60 is approximately a 10- to 15-minute walk from the resort along Clearwater Beach’s scenic Beach Walk.
Opal Sands is located directly along Clearwater Beach with immediate access to the public white-sand beach.
